Matching members' external insurance cover

We are pleased to announce that members can now apply to have their externally-held Death or Death and Total & Permanent Disablement (TPD) cover transferred and matched by Telstra Super at our group cover rates. 

As part of out strong focus on life-long member protection, the new portability arrangements will give members the ability to simplify their total level of cover and overall financial security.

By consolidating their superannuation within Telstra Super, members will be able to enjoy robust protection with the benefit of competitive group insurance premiums.

Applying members must provide proof of the cover they hold externally, with any exclusions and loadings on that cover also being applied within Telstra Super. 

The transfer arrangements are available to accumulation and defined benefit members across both employer-sponsored and personal divisions. 

Members wishing to apply to transfer their externally held insurance cover to Telstra Super should complete an Insurance Transfer Application form (51kb).
