Telstra Super has recently been recognised in newspapers around the country such as the Herald Sun, Daily Telegraph and Courier Mail, for being named one of Australia’s Top Ten super funds, as identified by independent research agency, SuperRatings.
The articles recognise the growing competition within the retirement and super industry, and pays tribute to those funds which have been recognised for providing the highest quality services and benefits to members.
Telstra Super has received a Top Ten ranking for the past three years, in recognition of its strong performance in the SuperRatings annual review process, which evaluates super funds on criteria such as:
- investments
- fees
- insurance
- service delivery
- member education
- financial planning facilities
- employer support
- fund governance.
The SuperRatings review this year included over 450 different products from 300 of Australia's leading public sector, retail, industry and corporate super funds.
“Telstra Super has experienced strong growth and evolution over the past 12 months, through the introduction of a range of new products and services. These include a new investment option, Defensive Growth, which has been strongly embraced by members, as well as greater online tools and services,” said Telstra Super Chief Executive, Martin Crowe.
“Our focus continues to be equipping members with an expanding range of products and resources, to ensure they have confidence in the options available to them in all stages of life. The true barometer of our success is the feedback we get from members, though it is pleasing that this is further endorsed by the industry,” Mr Crowe said.
This year Telstra Super celebrates 20 years of industry-leading member service.
