Our investment options

Our range of investment options have been designed to make your investment choice easy.

Telstra Super's investment options apply to members with an accumulation account. You can choose from a broad range of options to ensure that your super savings are invested in the option that best suits you.

Important information

From 1 February 2017, we are making some modest changes to our asset allocations. Visit www.telstrasuper.com.au/fundupdate for more information about the changes.  You may want to consider the changes if you’re thinking of changing investment options.

Telstra Super offers five diversified options, which means your money is invested across several asset classes including shares, cash, property and fixed interest. The diversified options, Growth, Balanced, Diversified Income, Defensive Growth and Conservative, offer you varying levels of risk and return.

We also offer five single asset class options to provide you with investment choice in all major asset classes. You can choose from International Shares, Australian Shares, Property, Fixed Interest and Cash.

Additionally, our Direct Access investment option offers you the ability to invest your super in term deposits and companies listed in the ASX300.

We also offer a MySuper arrangement, called Telstra Super MySuper.

If one of our investment options does not quite fit your circumstances, or appetite for risk and return, you can select a mix of any of the options we offer. This allows you to tailor your investment strategy to your needs.

Members who don't make an investment choice will automatically be invested Telstra Super MySuper.

Telstra Super MySuper consists of three age-based investment stages as shown in the table below. The account balance and contributions of Telstra Super MySuper members will be invested in the relevant age-based investment stage, then, as the member ages, their balance will automatically be moved to the relevant investment stage in the arrangement. No buy/sell spread is charged on automatic MySuper transfers.
