Be prepared

To give you the best advice possible, your financial planner will need to develop a complete picture of your financial situation and goals. You should take details of your financial situation to your first appointment, including:

  • information on your annual expenses. Our Budget planner can help.
  • details of any other cash or investments.
  • details of your home and its value.
  • details of any other property you may own, its value, amounts owing on it, rental income, etc.
  • amounts of any outstanding loans and repayments.
  • details of any super you have outside of Telstra Super.
  • a summary of your goals for the future.
  • any other information that you feel is important to provide a complete picture of your situation and plans.

When you arrange your first appointment, you will be asked if you want Telstra Super Pty Ltd to pass on your personal details to Telstra Super Financial Planning. If you agree, you will not need to bring any details of your Telstra Super membership to your first appointment.
