Cape Woolamai Walk – Phillip Island, VIC
Best known for its penguins, Phillip Island is also a great place for magnificent scenery. The secret is out on the Cape Woolamai Circuit which takes you past beautiful pink granite cliffs, amazing rock formations and stunning panoramic views. You’ll also find a coastline teeming with wildlife in this hidden gem including wallabies, a myriad of sea birds and even a whale or two if you’re lucky.

Kings Canyon Rim Walk – NT
Find the Lost City, luxuriate in the Garden of Eden and pass through Priscilla’s Crack—the Kings Canyon Rim Walk is full of highlights and it’s not to be missed. The 6 km circuit takes you through some awe-inspiring scenery that’s best walked at sunrise when the sandstone slowly turns into a stunning display of oranges and reds.

White Sands Walk - Jervis Bay, NSW
The combination of the turquoise water, some of the purest sands in the world, and a bushland track skirting the Jervis Bay National Park makes the White Sands Walk one to remember. As you meander along this spectacular coastal track look out for dolphins, seals, penguins and kangaroos and reward yourself at the end with a paddle in one of Australia’s best beaches, Hyams Beach.

Wave Rock Wildflower Trail – Hyden, WA
It’s out of the way but worth making the trip to Hyden to explore Wave Rock when it explodes in colour after the spring rains. Take in the 2,500 wildflower varieties that can be found in the area, read early settlement and indigenous stories, and marvel at how the salty landscape can be so dramatically beautiful before settling in for a spectacular sunset from atop the rock.

Ice House Loop – Hobart, TAS
Kunanyi (Mount Wellington) is a magnet for tourists to the Apple Isle but most miss the beauty of the mountain as they never venture past the pinnacle lookout. There are so many incredible walking tracks to be discovered but the Ice House Loop which weaves through dolerite boulder fields, snow gum forests and offers sweeping views of the Derwent River and Hobart below will take your breath away.

Kondalilla Falls – Sunshine Coast, QLD
Wind through lush eucalyptus forest and pristine rainforest before you reach the impressive Kondalilla Falls tumbling 90m into the natural rock pool below. Descend into the Obi Obi Valley past rock pools and native flora and enjoy a picnic and a dip in the majestic swimming hole while gazing up at the spectacular falls.

Riesling Trail – Clare Valley, SA
A beautiful mixture of Tuscany and Ireland, the Riesling Trail has more to offer than just amazing wine. Wander past fields of vines, vales of eucalypts and charming villages featuring galleries, museums and cafes. It is truly a delight for the senses that can be completed in a day or taken more slowly to soak up the sights, the smells, and the wine!
