Does TelstraSuper invest in large global companies such as Microsoft, Visa and Google?

In total, TelstraSuper has investments of close to $5 billion in international shares, and we invest in thousands of different companies. These investments are managed on your behalf by specialist fund management organisations that are appointed and monitored by the TelstraSuper investment team.

To give you a flavour of what our international share investments look like, here’s a list of the ten largest holdings in our International Shares investment option. You can see that our largest investments include shares in major technology companies such as Oracle, Microsoft and Alphabet, which is the company that owns Google. We also have large shares in major credit card companies such as Visa and American Express, as well as healthcare companies such as Roche and United Health.

Here’s a chart that shows the regions in which our International Shares are invested. You can see that about half is in North America, about a quarter in Europe, and just under 15% is in Asia.

As always, we like to have well-diversified portfolios to ensure our members have exposure to many different countries, industries and companies.
Thanks once again for all of your questions. Please keep them coming by sending them to the email address on your screen, and I’ll make sure I address them in an upcoming video.
