Remember we’re all adjusting to new working styles so be patient and clear on your expectations and availability. 

Consider where the other person is at

You may be at different adjustment stages so check in with each other regularly. 

Change goals if you need to

The goal of your mentorship may have changed for one or both of you. Make it ok to change goals and take on the challenge. 

Virtual catch ups

Video calls have become vital in hybrid workplaces. Schedule in video calls to pick up or maintain momentum when you can’t meet in person.
