Mr Davies has been CEO of TelstraSuper since 2013, having previously held various roles in the financial services sector including UniSuper, BT Financial Group, Commonwealth Bank and Colonial First State. He joined the Association of Superannuation Funds Australia Board in 2014 and is Chair of the Super System Design Policy Council.

“It’s been a privilege to lead such a highly respected fund and great team over the last six years. Our dedication to being an innovative and truly members’ first fund has been a driving force for me and I’m delighted to be recognised by my peers,” said Mr Davies.

TelstraSuper Chair, Anne-Marie Corboy said that the award recognises Chris’ significant contribution to TelstraSuper and the broader super industry – including his work representing corporate super funds at a policy level.

“Chris has been a champion for members’ at TelstraSuper and an active contributor to the broader super industry,” said Ms Corboy. “He has driven many important policy discussions that have lead to improvements of the super system and ultimately better outcomes for members.”
