The Career Fund of the Year Award recognises TelstraSuper’s alignment with its core member demographic including how the design of the Fund’s offering reflects the needs of its members, and the value delivered to members though a range of criteria including investment performance and member services. 

TelstraSuper CEO Chris Davies said the Fund was thrilled to be recognised as a super fund that tailored its product and service offering to meet the needs of its membership base.  

“TelstraSuper has always had a close connection with our members and this Award recognises the benefits this delivers, both in terms of services provided and investment returns for members,” Mr Davies said.  

Mr Davies noted the close connection the Fund has with its employer partners.  

“We pride ourselves on having a robust offering for employers and working closely with our employer partners to understand their unique needs. From insurance to special member education sessions, TelstraSuper members have benefited immensely from this close relationship,” Mr Davies said.  

Highlighting the quality of products and services offered by TelstraSuper, we were also a finalist in eight other categories including Best Digital Offering, Choice Insurance Offering, Lifetime Return, Member Education, Accountability and Transparency, Innovator, MyChoice Super of the Year, and Retirement Offering of the Year. 

Compared to many other profit-to-member super funds, TelstraSuper members typically have higher than average retirement balances.  

“TelstraSuper is a fund for life – and we’re continuously exploring new ways to assist members at every life stage on their journey to retirement,” Mr Davies said, adding that TelstraSuper is open to everyone and is actively seeking new employer partners.  

“We want to work with employers, who share similar values and can see the value a corporate superannuation offer can deliver to their business and their employees. Our focus on delivering highly personalised super services won’t change – we will remain big enough to do meaningful work, but small enough to care for our members.”
