Terms and Conditions

Consolidation competition March 2024

  1. The Promoter is Telstra Super Pty Ltd, ABN 86 007 422 522, AFSL 236709 as the trustee of the Telstra Superannuation Scheme (TelstraSuper) of Level 10, 130 Lonsdale St, Melbourne, VIC 3000.
  2. This competition is open to TelstraSuper members with a Personal Plus or Corporate Plus account eligible to receive a roll in from an external superannuation fund. Employees of the Promoter or their immediate families along with the Promoter, associated companies and agencies are ineligible to participate.
  3. Eligible TelstraSuper members who consolidate their superannuation from another superannuation fund into TelstraSuper during the Competition Period will automatically be entered into the competition. A maximum of one entry per participant is permitted and only one prize per participant can be won. 
  4. Before consolidating your superannuation and participating in this competition, you warrant that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Competition Terms & Conditions.
  5. Participation in this competition is free.
  6. The competition is a game of chance and each valid entry will enter the draw for an equal and fair chance to be randomly selected by the Promoter as a competition winner. 
  7. This competition commences on 1 March 2024 at 12am (Melbourne time) and concludes on 31 March 2024 at 11:59pm (Melbourne time) (Competition Period).
  8. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption or delay in the operation or transmission of any communication sent to or by the Promoter, or any participant, whether caused by communication networks or lines, computer systems, software or internet service providers, congestion on any carrier network or otherwise.
  9. The Promoter takes no responsibility for late or misdirected entries or for any delays or failures in any telecommunication service or equipment of any party.
  10. The Promoter will draw 6 winners from all eligible participants as at 11:59pm on 31 March 2024 (Melbourne time). A random manual prize draw will take place at TelstraSuper, Level 10, 130 Lonsdale St, Melbourne, VIC 3000 at 10:00 am on 18 April 2024.
  11. The 6 prize winners will each receive a $500 VISA Gift Card.
  12. The Promoter will publish the winners’ names on the Promoter’s website.  A list of the drawn prizes and their winners will be displayed on the Promoter’s website for at least 7 after the day on which the prizes were drawn.
  13. The prize winners will be notified by phone and in writing via mail or email within 7 days of the prize draw that they have won and of the method for delivering the prize.
  14. If the Promoter’s representative is unable to contact a winner by phone, email or letter after reasonable efforts have been made, the Promoter will redraw the prize from the competition entries on Friday, 26 April 2024 until a winner has been contacted.
  15. The prize will be mailed/e-mailed to the prize winner within 28 days of the prize draw. 
  16. If there are no prize winners, or the prize winners cannot be found, the Promoter will publish this on its website.
  17. If the prize specified becomes unavailable for any reason which is out of the Promoter’s control, then a similar prize of equal value will be awarded in lieu.
  18. The prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash. It is up to the prize winner to use the value of the gift card before the expiry date. Any unused balance will not be refunded or credited when the card expires.
  19. In addition to Condition 12, any personal information provided to the Promoter will be treated in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, found at https://www.telstrasuper.com.au/legal/privacy.
  20. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter will not be held liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any prize except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
  21. In relation to any disputes arising from the competition, the Promoter’s decision in relation to any aspect of the competition is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
  22. A participant claiming to be a prize winner must provide proof of identity if required by the Promoter. Each prize winner may also be required to sign a document indicating they have received their prize at the time of distribution.
  23. Each participant is responsible for notifying the Promoter of any change to the participant’s contact details during and after the Competition Period.
